Variations in the roofline and facade counter the volume of the building. A range of EIFS finishes provide a consistent cladding system that complements the ICF wall system.
To the rear of the building, a courtyard provides a communal recreation area for tenants.
GILLCHRIST MANOR
This project provides 61 affordable housing units for seniors in an attractive, four-storey building. Gilchrist Manor makes use of insulated concrete form (ICF) construction. ICF is typically used in single-family residential construction; Abugov-Kaspar has made innovative use of ICF in the design of larger residential and commercial buildings, capitalizing on the product's superb energy efficency and sound attenuation.
